"I watched the '76 version, which was the longer one. It did feel meandering at times and I can definitely see why a tighter cut was made. (I ended up watching both versions)... Gazzara did such a wonderful job playing Cosmo, it was the perfect amount of scumbag loser without it being cartoonish."
