A McDonald's promotional drink theorized by some to have been originally intended as a Pride Month shake before being rebranded to feature the Grimace character.
"I read a post on reddit that theorized the Grimace Shake was supposed to be a shake that celebrated pride month (or trans people) but McDonalds walked it all back fearing backlash from boycotts like Bud Light did so they dragged out an old character and slapped his name on it instead."
