"Carmen Berzatto (the main character) comes across as incredibly self indulgent and whiny. His life is supposed to be the epitome of trauma and explain why he is a raging asshole, but his experiences don't serve as an adequate excuse for that. Are people just so wrapped up in the pretentious 'torture"
