American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, governing body criticized for allowing CPAs to be certified in India and Philippines without US presence.
"The AICPA (the governing body of accountants in the US) has recently made it possible for people in the Philippines and India to earn their CPA certification without ever stepping foot in the US."
